Education Sec promises to stop abusers like Chan

BRIDGET Phillipson vowed to improve children's safety when speaking about the horrific case of a nursery worker attacking sleeping kids.

The Education Secretary confirmed that a full local child safeguarding practice review is being set up immediately to learn lessons to better protect children.

Ms Phillipson gave an update to MPs yesterday after Vincent Chan this week pleaded guilty to 26 harrowing charges including multiple sexual assaults.

The paedophile filmed himself sexually abusing four girls at a nursery in North London.

The 45-year-old also pleaded guilty to making indecent photos of children, including Category A images, the worst level of abuse.
