After a summer of upheaval, Arsenal's new £67.5M winger just wants to concentrate on his football

- BY JEREMY CROSS

EBERECHI EZE admits he wants to get off the roller-coaster ride he's been on - and focus on his football.

Eze has found himself entrenched in an emotional few weeks, which have elevated his career to a whole new level.

The former Crystal Palace man snubbed a move to Tottenham in favour of joining bitter rivals Arsenal in a dream £67.5million switch.

It was a transfer he helped mastermind himself, courtesy of a late phone call to Mikel Arteta, which convinced him to snub Spurs in favour of Arsenal ahead of the deadline.

Eze was paraded on the pitch ahead of the Gunners' thrashing of Leeds, when he was interviewed by club legend Ian Wright.

The winger also received a call from Arsenal icon Thierry Henry, congratulating him on his switch to the club.
