Mansell in £106k sale of racing collection

AN auction of Formula One legend Nigel Mansell’s personal memorabilia has sold every item.

The collection featured unique and signed lots from the 1992 world champion including race wear, helmets, trophies and other sporting items.

Highlights included a signed 1989 Ferrari race-spec helmet, which went for £4,400, and a 1993 IndyCar Rookie of the Year trophy, for £4,000.
