CHRISTIAN Brueckner befriended a mum in a chat room used by paedophiles and called her daughter cute, a court heard.
The woman testified yesterday in court in Germany, where Madeleine McCann suspect Brueckner is on trial for unrelated sex attacks in Portugal between 2000 and 2017.
The woman said she met the German online in 2013. She said: "He wrote to me on a regular dating chat site.
"But I have since found it's where many paedophiles and sick people operate."
