Spurs chief: Ange was sacked because club 'needs to win league, Europa is 'not enough'
DANIEL LEVY has admitted Ange Postecoglou was sacked because “we need to win the league”.
The Aussie, 59, was shown the door two weeks after he led Tottenham to Europa League victory for their first trophy in 17 years.
Levy (left) said: “You saw the outpouring of emotion with the parade. It was just incredible. We've won a European trophy.
“But it’s not enough. It’s what we haven't done that is more important. We need to win the league.
