What Vennells said despite 2013 fears, PO inquiry told
FORMER Post Office boss Paula Vennells wanted to continue prosecuting subpostmasters despite officials' fears in 2013, the Horizon IT inquiry has heard.
Yesterday former head in-house lawyer Chris Aujard told how the executive committee "were in favour of ceasing prosecutions entirely".
However, Ms Vennells said limited prosecutions should proceed.
