KALPANA STILL ON TRACK FOR ARC

ONE-TIME Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe favourite Kalpana is back on track to tackle the big race after her surprise defeat in her Kempton warm-up. The Andrew Balding-trained filly was in danger of missing her season-long target after being beaten at odds-on by Giavellotto in the September Stakes.

Her price has since drifted from 6-1 to 14-1 with William Hill after Balding (right) hinted that the British Champions Fillies & Mares at Ascot, which she won last year, may be considered in the wake of her shock reverse.
