A rival for the striker role, but Brazilian backs Gyokeres to find form
GABRIEL JESUS has backed Viktor Gyokeres to come good but warned there are no guaranteed spots at big clubs like Arsenal.
The Brazilian has returned after a long-term knee injury suffered in January last year and already found the net in the win over Aston Villa.
With the recovery of Kai Havertz, the competition for the No.9 spot has only increased but Jesus only had positive words for his Swedish teammate.
"Vik is an amazing guy," he said. "Unfortunately, when he came, I wasn't there because I was injured and I was doing my rehab in Brazil with my family.
"I had a newborn, but I wasn't there. But since I came back, we have good relations. We talk about football. We are the same age. And then, I have played here in the Premier League longer than him.
