I'm so jealous that my partner's still close to ex-wife

My partner was married before we got together and has two children with his ex-wife.

We also have a daughter together, who’s nearly two. My problem is, I feel insanely jealous of his ex and his relationship with her.

He's not the issue - he’s very reassuring and attentive, and is always saying how sexy and attractive I am. But the fact remains his ex is gorgeous and successful and they were together for 12 years.

They have this unspoken language between them, which makes me feel excluded.

The other day she came over to collect the kids and they were laughing together and had all these private jokes. I don't feel we're at that stage yet and wonder if we ever will be while his ex hovers around our lives.
