Ozzy gets wish with grave at mansion

OZZY Osbourne has been laid to rest at his mansion, fulfilling the heavy metal star's long-held wish to be buried in a “lovely garden”.

And after the final encore of Thursday's rock hero procession for thousands of fans in home town Birmingham, his last act yesterday was a more intimate affair for family and friends.

But sources said the gathering at his Buckinghamshire home was no less a toast to a life well lived and a glittering career that shaped the history of music.

Ozzy, who died last Tuesday aged 76, wrote in a 2009 book about his funeral: “I want to be put in the ground, in a nice garden somewhere, with a tree planted over my head.
