Capital FM's Aimee on breastfeeding & sepsis hell

CAPITAL FM'S Aimee Vivian has said her breast milk nearly killed her after she developed sepsis.

The DJ, 34, welcomed daughter Charli in June but ended up in hospital again, fearing she would lose her life.

She says: "I remember looking at a hospital midwife and saying, 'Please don't let me die tonight'.

"I really thought I wasn't going to make it. I still can't believe something so simple, which is supposed to provide life, almost ended mine."

Aimee, who is now back home with her baby girl, is keen to raise awareness about the breast condition mastitis and her subsequent sepsis infection, which can be fatal.
