Guilty plea after racist abuse sent to Lioness

A MAN has admitted sending vile racist abuse to England footballer Jess Carter during Euro 2025.
Nigel Dewale pleaded guilty to sending malicious communications.
A court heard how in July last year - while the Women's Euros were being played - the UK Football Policing Unit launched an investigation into several malicious and hateful social media messages sent to defender Jess.
Detectives traced some of the messages to the home of Dewale, 59. He was arrested in August.
