Gran, 68, mauled to death by rapper's pack of XL Bullys

A RAPPER has been found guilty after a vulnerable grandmother was mauled to death when she was left alone to look after a pack of 10 XL Bully dogs.

Ashley Warren left Esther Martin, 68, in charge of the dogs, which had a combined weight of 30st, in what was described as a “tragedy waiting to happen”.

The gran, who had restricted movement and arthritis, was attacked by the two adult Bullys, named Beauty and Bear.

Warren, 41, was convicted of being responsible for a dog - Bear - which caused injury resulting in death while dangerously out of control in a private place.

Jurors cleared him of the same charge relating to Beauty.

Police had been to the property in Jaywick, Essex, about an unrelated matter 11 days before the attack, which took place on February 3, 2024.
