LAST week delivered a lot more certainty for millions of drivers who were missold motor finance. City regulator the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) confirmed details of a mass redress scheme after what has been called the worst scandal to hit the financial sector since PPI.
The FCA says it now expects compensation to be paid on more than 12 million car finance agreements taken out between 2007 and 2024.
The figure is around two million fewer than the 14.2 million it predicted when proposals were announced last October.
