Morrison's smart filly ready to go to the top of the class at Haydock

MISTRAL STAR (3.00) should be a hit in the Betfred Nifty 50 Lester Piggott Fillies' Stakes.

She looked a smart filly when bolting up in a Salisbury handicap on fast ground last summer and she confirmed her potential when chasing home La Mehana in a French Listed contest later in the season.

The form looks very solid as the winner of that race went on to hit the frame in a Group 1 at Longchamp on Arc weekend.

Hughie Morrison's filly has an excellent record on quick ground and she looked sure to improve for her return to action at Ayr.
