Nikki Knight, 39, lives in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, with husband Ollie, 41, a teacher, and children Sophie, 12, and Toby, seven, who has ADHD and acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. He is currently recovering from a bone marrow transplant. Former social worker Nikki quit work in 2023 to care for him.

Nikki says: "I've been coming to terms with Toby's diagnosis while navigating all the appointments, paperwork and healthcare plans.
"I live in fight or flight mode.
