Gaza death toll rises as hope of two states fades

AT least 31 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza yesterday, health officials claimed.

As well those killed directly, 13 of them seeking aid, another four died of hunger in 24 hours.

The number who have died of starvation is now said to be 239, with 106 of them children.
