Check developed for devastating condition
THE first blood test to diagnose the debilitating condition ME has been developed, scientists say.
Doctors currently have no way to test for myalgic encephalomyelitis, or chronic fatigue syndrome, apart from observing symptoms.
But researchers from the University of East Anglia (UEA) and Oxford BioDynamics say they can detect ME by how a patient's DNA is folded.
