Family call for cops to probe 'suicide forum'

Uni student Grace, 22, 'bought poison online' while having mental health crisis

THE family of a student who committed suicide using poison bought online is pleading with police to investigate her tragic death.

Leeds University drama student 22-year-old Grace Nevens is believed to have taken the deadly substance after visiting an online “suicide forum”.

At a pre-inquest review yesterday her parents Sharon and Neil plus sister Lucy listened intently as their barrister Alison Seaman urged detectives to look into her death more closely.

Ms Seaman said: "It is difficult for the family to understand as there is evidence of a transaction whereby Grace obtained [the named substance].

"It is likely there is evidence that the person selling it to her knew what she was planning to do."
