Police couple swap beat for the Good Life after £1m win

A COUPLE who won the lottery a year ago are well on their way to living their dream of the Good Life.

Graeme and Katherine White were able to use the £1million they scooped on the EuroMillions to fund a break from their jobs as police officers.

They moved to a smallholding in the country with their daughter, six, and four-year-old son, and are learning to live off the land, despite the odd hiccup.

A year on, they now have a puppy called Rusty and four hens, of which two are aptly named Euro and Million.

Katherine, 37, said: “Welcoming Euro and Million, as well as Bark Bark Hen and Jeff, is the culmination of an incredible year and another step towards living a more sustainable life.
