50 years after Jaws... Just when you thought it was safe to turn on the TV, is this the most bizarre reality show ever?

- BY NICOLA METHVEN TV Editor

Celebs swim with sharks

SEVEN celebrities are being thrown in at the deep end in ITV's latest reality show, as they swim with dangerous sharks.

The TV favourites travelled to the Bahamas for the programme and learned to free-dive alongside hammerhead, bull and tiger sharks.

They were chosen for the challenge because they all had a fear of the ocean and in case they needed a reminder of the peril they were in, one of their expert instructors was missing an arm and a leg after a close encounter with a predator.

SCARED

An insider said: "The sharks they were free-diving with were definitely dangerous.

"They were shocked when they realised what had happened to one of the three experts, whod had an arm and a leg bitten off by a tiger shark."
