Next year's World Cup is the most expensive ever

FANS wanting to watch Harry Kane's England at the World Cup have told how they fear paying eye-watering sums for tickets at the most expensive finals ever.

Prices for next summer's tournament in North America have already surpassed the Qatar 2022 finals.

The Football Supporters' Association, which represents 600,000 fans across the UK, said it was concerned about FIFA's "dynamic pricing" tactic - which means the cost of a seat can rise with demand.

A similar system came under fire during the Oasis reunion tour.

FIFA can also resell tickets on its resale platform and on secondary resale sites for well over face value.

A Mirror investigation during the last round of ticket sales found one final ticket on offer for $17,900 to $50,000, or £13,423 to £37,279.

And Three Lions fan Phil Storey, 66, who has already booked to go to Canada with his wife and son, said the cheapest seats are almost impossible to find.
