LEVI COLWILL believes Chelsea will be stronger after coming through their mid-season slump.

Blues boss Enzo Maresca saw his team's form dip after they blew the chance to go top in December and they went from title contenders to hoping to finish in the top four.

But Colwill was on target in Chelsea's 4-0 win over Southampton, which at least restored confidence and got their season back on track.

The England defender said: "The last few games have been tough, so it was important to bounce back.

"To get those goals, keep a clean sheet, and most importantly boost our confidence - hopefully, we can take it on to the next game.
