Says as a result no necessity for many family health officers
Sri Lanka's birth rate has declined lately and does not need many family health officers, Minister of Health Nalinda Jayatissa told Parliament yesterday.
Responding to a query made by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa in the House, the Minister specifically said the current demographic trends may not justify assigning a Family Health Officer to every Grama Niladhari Division.
