THE "Best Management Practices Company Awards," hosted annually by the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka, recognize organizations for their implementation of outstanding management practices that drive organizational growth and success.

Sanasa Life Insurance scores high with second consecutive win at BMPC Awards

Sanasa Life Insurance was the proud recipient of this prestigious award for the second consecutive year. Awarded for 'Insurance Category Winner' and as one of the 'Top 20 companies' for 2024, marks yet another milestone in organizational best practices being recognized by one of the most respected body of professionals in the country.

What are the BMPC awards?

BMPC is the acronym for 'Best Management Practices Company'. This annually conducted award presentation establishes a benchmark for organizations demonstrating superior management practices. Begun in 2006, The Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka is a highly acclaimed and respected organization that assesses best management practices within organizations.

With critical criteria to abide by, the applicants must justify and or evidence why they are eligible to be accepted as a nominee for an award. Based on an organization's functionality that showcases how their best management practices have been put into action and brought about a desired change or results within the organization, CIPM will then judge their eligibility as a nominee and possibly a winner.

'Sanasa' building a legacy

Every organization has their story that it is built on, and Sanasa Life Insurance is no exception. The Founding Chairman, Dr P. A Kiriwandeniya instilled this when Sanasa began its journey many years ago from a simplistic farming assistance program to help farmers regain lost profits in the event of unforeseen circumstances. This concept of extending assistance to those who are faced with hardship is recognized as a foundational ethic that the organization employs to date. “Understanding the difficulties of those around us and helping gain a better footing when difficult times come, is a core ethic on how Sanasa Life Insurance operates”, said Mr. Nuwanpriya Gunawardane, CEO.
