Melco confirms 3Q25 launch for City of Dreams casino

The much-anticipated casino at City of Dreams Sri Lanka is “on track to open in the third quarter of 2025,” Melco International Development announced this week, signaling continued momentum in one of Sri Lanka’s largest luxury resort investments.

In its latest annual report, Melco Chairman and CEO Lawrence Ho Yau Lung said the group is looking beyond Macau, with a keen focus on the Colombo-based project.
"This transformative project represents a capital-light investment with an attractive return profile, allowing us to extend the City of Dreams brand and broaden our customer base," Ho noted.
