A 26-year-old suspect who allegedly impersonated film director Somaratne Dissanayake and collected nude photographs of women under the pretense of offering them acting opportunities in films was ordered to be remanded till August 21 by Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali Jayathunga.

The suspect, Isuru Madhumal, from the Polgahawela area, was arrested following a complaint made by Director Somaratne Dissanayake to the Computer Crimes Division of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
