Dipped Products PLC (DPL), a leading global manufacturer of protective gloves and a subsidiary of Hayleys PLC, has implemented its fully digitised integrated ecosystem, ‘DPL EasyPay” - a new benchmark in latex procurement across Sri Lanka’s rubber supply chain.

A smallholder agent using the 'DPL EasyPay' mobile application to record latex collections and process payments in real time
Developed in collaboration with the Hayleys Group Digital Transformation Unit, the initiative brings together over 4,500 latex farmers and more than 40 Smallholder Agents (SHAs), transitioning a historically manual, paper-based process into a seamless, technology-enabled system. The platform supports DPL’s strong local sourcing model, with approximately 80% of latex requirements now fulfilled domestically.
DPL EasyPay digitally integrates the full procurement lifecycle from latex collection and instant advance payments to transportation, laboratory testing, and final settlements - eliminating inefficiencies while improving speed, accuracy, and end-to-end visibility. At its core is a robust traceability framework powered by QR-code tracking, linking each transaction from farmer to factory. This is complemented by geo-tagging capabilities that capture precise collection locations, enabling real-time monitoring, route visibility, and enhanced supply planning.
A key advancement is biometric validation through face recognition technology, ensuring transaction authenticity as well as eliminating impersonation risks and manual errors.Integration with SAP enables real-time financial processing right up to laboratory confirmation of Dry Rubber Content (DRC). This accelerated cycle has improved cash flow, reduced financial uncertainty, and contributed to a substantial increase in DPL’s latex collection volumes during the second and third quarters of 2025 compared to the previous year.
