Expands presence in Sri Lanka
'PT. City Air and Holidays', a leading Indonesian destination management company headquartered in South Jakarta, has officially launched its latest marketing plan to the Sri Lankan travel trade, strengthening links between Colombo and Jakarta.
A subsidiary of Singapore's Serangoon Air Travel Pte. Ltd, the holding company of the CitiAir Group, the company is IATA-accredited and operates across Singapore, India, Indonesia, Australia and Sri Lanka.
The launch ceremony was held at the premises of the Indonesian Embassy, under the auspices of Gustina Dewi, Ambassador of Indonesia.
'PT. City Air and Holidays' specialises in international and domestic reservations, air ticketing, and inbound/outbound package sales, offering Sri Lankan travellers access to a wide portfolio of destinations across Indonesia and beyond.
With SriLankan Airlines operating daily flights between Colombo and Jakarta, 'City Air and Holidays' aims to leverage this direct connectivity to boost two-way tourism and business travel. The collaboration is expected to open up new opportunities for outbound travellers from Sri Lanka to explore Indonesia's diverse offerings, while also promoting inbound tourism to the island.
