Athletics election: Committee to be named next week

Steps are finally being taken to revive the currently inactive Sri Lanka Athletics (SLA) administration, with the Department of Sports Development deciding to appoint members to a new election committee on December 23.

Acting Director General of the Department of Sports Development, V. Premachandiran, has confirmed that the election committee members will be named paving the way for the appointment of a new set of office-bearers for Sri Lanka Athletics.
