Sri Lanka strengthens Asia-Pacific ICT ties

AS part of its national drive to accelerate digital transformation and position itself as a key player in the regional technology landscape, Sri Lanka successfully hosted the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Executive Committee Meeting 2025 recently at the Hilton Colombo.

The high-level forum convened representatives from 16 APICTA member economies, fostering meaningful dialogue on strengthening regional ICT collaboration, promoting innovation, and building future-ready digital ecosystems across the Asia-Pacific region.
APICTA is an association of ICT communities across the Asia-Pacific region, working together to promote technology innovation and foster the development of indigenous ICT solutions for global markets through its prestigious annual awards program.
This year’s EXCO meeting provided an important platform to align current priorities and explore collaborative initiatives across critical sectors including e-governance, smart infrastructure, digital entrepreneurship, education technology, and cross-border innovation ecosystems.
