CILT Sri Lanka and ICS Celebrate World Maritime Day 2025 with a Distinguished Program

THE Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS), successfully hosted a special program to celebrate World Maritime Day 2025 on September 25 at the OPA Auditorium from 6.00 pm onwards.
The event brought together over 100 participants, including maritime professionals, academics, and industry leaders, to reflect on the significance of the sector in global trade, economic growth, and sustainable development.
The global theme for this year, "Our Ocean, Our Obligation, and Our Opportunity", underscored the evening's discussions. It called for reflection on the vital responsibilities shared by all stakeholders in managing the oceans while exploring the immense opportunities they provide for innovation and sustainable progress.
