6th edition of Governor's Challenge Trophy concludes successfully

THE Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe, attended the Global Commerce Quiz 2025 as the Chief Guest and presented the sixth Governor's Challenge Trophy which coincided with the 75th anniversary celebrations of CBSL. The event was held on 9 June 2025 at Galadari Hotel, Colombo.

People'S Bank emerged as the overall Champion of the Governor's Challenge Trophy 2025. First Runnersup was Central Bank of Sri Lanka and Second Runner-up was Seylan Bank PLC. The competition also recognised six sector winners, highlighting excellence across diverse industries.
