JONES BACKING ROSENIOR
NATHAN JONES has praised new Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior as “a thinker" and “a leader" - even during his playing days.
The Charlton boss is proud to have played a part in Rosenior’s development, but is now hoping to spoil the head coach’ first match in charge of the Blues.
When he joined Brighton in 2015, aged 30, Rosenior revealed he wanted to learn from then assistant coach Jones (right). The defender was already studying for his A licence.
Since the end of his playing career, the former England Under-21 star has managed Derby, Hull and Strasbourg before arriving at Stamford Bridge this week.
