'Stay indoors from 9am till 2pm to dodge pollen peaks'
Daily Express
|April 18, 2025
HAY fever sufferers have been urged to stay indoors for five hours each day over the Easter weekend to avoid the scourge of runny noses, watery eyes and sneezing fits.
With Holy Week being so late this year pollen levels are surging.
And they are at their highest in the late morning and early afternoon, with maximum intensity at around midday.
Allan Green, an expert at Weldricks Pharmacy, advised sufferers to avoid outdoor activities this holiday period between 9am and 2pm.
