Starmer risks row with Trump over defence spending

SIR Keir Starmer is at risk of a row with Donald Trump amid claims he will not meet the US leader's demands to increase defence spending to 2.5% of GDP by 2030.
The PM had previously pledged an increase from the current 2.3% of GDP but had not set a deadline for hitting the 2.5% target.
He is due to confirm a date in spring when a strategic defence review concludes.
