PATRICK MAHOMES promised to be back “stronger than ever" after a painful exit at Arrowhead Stadium marked a rare low point in his glittering career.

Mahomes is used to his season ending with the Vince Lombardi Trophy in his hands.

On Sunday night, 2025 came to an excruciating climax when his Kansas City Chiefs missed out on the playoffs for the first time in his career and he had to use two staff members as crutches to get back to the locker room.
