Repair Shop Jay charged with 'coercive behaviour'

BBC star Jay Blades has been charged with controlling or coercive behaviour towards his estranged wife.
The Repair Shop presenter did not enter a plea when he appeared before magistrates yesterday.
He was bailed until his next court date in October.
Afterwards BBC1 pulled a repeat episode of his Touring Toolshed show with Sir David Jason that was due to be shown last night.
Blades, 54, whose first name is Jason, is best known as the main host of the Bafta-winning Repair Shop a role he has held since the series started in 2017.
In the feel-good show, viewers including King Charles on one bring in much-loved occasion possessions to be restored.
