Putin tells Trump he wants revenge

VLADIMIR Putin has vowed to take revenge on Ukraine over its drone strikes on Russian military airbases.

The despot made the ominous threat yesterday during a 75-minute call with Donald Trump.

The US president posted on Truth Social: "It was a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to immediate Peace.

"President Putin did say, and very strongly, that he will have to respond to the recent attack on the airfields."

The call, confirmed by both Trump and the Kremlin, followed Ukraine's dramatic launch of Operation Spider Web.
