PUTIN 'READY TO DO CEASEFIRE DEAL THROUGH TRUMP'

VLADIMIR Putin is ready to discuss a Ukraine ceasefire deal with US President-elect Donald Trump, sources claim.
The Russian President is understood to have a list of weighty demands, including that Kyiv abandons its long-held ambition to join Nato.
Mr Trump, who has praised Putin and returns to the White House in January, has vowed to end the fighting "in a day".
Coming up to three years since Russia's invasion in February 2022, Putin's troops control an area around the size of the US state of Virginia.
Five current and former Russian officials familiar with Kremlin thinking have now said Moscow could broadly agree to freeze the bloody conflict along the front lines.
