Fan favourite's return adds to feelgood factor as Seagulls record a first win in seven

- BY PAUL BROWN

RETURNING hero Pascal Gross will not need long to get back up to speed at Brighton.

Gross knows half the team already from his first spell at the club and claims he has watched every one of their games since he left.

The Brighton fan favourite rejoined the club on last week after leaving last summer to sign for boyhood club Borussia Dortmund.

It was goals from Georginio Rutter and Yasin Ayari against Burnley which gave the Seagulls their first win in seven.

But the biggest cheer of the day was reserved for Gross when he came on as a 71st-minute sub. The 34-year-old said: "I watched nearly every game since I left so I followed the club a lot. I know the players quite well and you get to know them better when you train with them.

"I love the life here. This morning before the game I walked at the beach, had a coffee and really enjoyed it.
