Parents speak out over 'lethal' zipline

THE family of a girl who broke her neck after being hurled up to 10ft by a "lethal" zipline have sounded an urgent warning to other parents.

Lois Crook, eight, must wear a custom halo brace screwed into her skull for at least 12 weeks and doctors say it is a miracle her spinal cord was not damaged.

Other parents also claim their children suffered broken arms and concussion falling from the zipline.

Lois's parents, Emma and Daniel Crook, say the ride, installed three years ago in a £5million revamp, travels too fast and fear more children could be seriously hurt.

Ashford Council has launched an investigation into the accident at the town's Victoria Park.
