BEN CURRY opted to have surgery that leaves him racing to make any of England's autumn’s Tests, but twin brother Tom has been given a thumbs-up for November.

Flanker Ben has had a persistent hamstring problem which his club Sale, and England, were trying to manage.

As enhanced EPS contracted players, Steve Borthwick and RFU medics have a say in both their treatment but Ben, 27, took the decision to go under the knife himself.
