OBSESSED SESKO IS A HISTORY BOY
Daily Express
|August 16, 2025
BENJAMIN SESKO has been challenged to write his name into Manchester United history.
Ruben Amorim revealed he has virtually had to drag his workaholic new striker off the training pitch with the £73million signing from RB Leipzig desperate to force his way into the side for tomorrow’s game with Arsenal.
After his concerns over the attitude of departed England international Marcus Rashford, Amorim loves what he has seen so far from “football obsessive” Sesko — even if he has had his work cut out to ensure the 22-year-old does not overdo it in his bid to make an impression.
The United head coach said: “I can see him being a striker here at the club for a lot of years.
“He has great potential in everything he does and that’s why we paid so much, to have a striker that will have his history in our club. He is always thinking about football. He’s really obsessed with it and that is a good thing.
“I don’t have to get him up for games, I have no concern about that. In fact I have the opposite, he needs to enjoy himself a little bit!”
