Games designers earn more than law graduates

MANY graduates with so-called "Mickey Mouse" vocational degrees are getting better paid jobs than those with more traditional subjects.

Ex-polytechnic courses can be more lucrative than those at prestigious Russell Group universities within five years of graduating.

Those who studied for a BA in computer graphics, vision and games at Aberystwyth University took home an average salary of £34,000, revealed course website Discover Uni.

BSc graduates in games design at Bournemouth University got £32,000.

And a BSc in e-sports from production Nottingham Trent University earned £31,500.
