Nearly 84m travel through Heathrow in new passenger record

HEATHROW had its busiest year for passenger numbers in 2024, bosses have revealed. Some 83.9 million people travelled through the airport's terminals in 2024.

It is 4.7 million more than in 2023 and three million more than the former record set in 2019.

And Heathrow forecasts it will beat the new figure this year by serving 84.2 million people.
