My skin has never been exactly glowy, but I was in my mid-thirties when one day I found that my cheeks were red, bumpy and speckled with pustules. I thought it was just a rash, but it didn't go away.

It wasn't until 18 months later that my GP diagnosed rosacea - a long-term skin condition. There's no known cause, but triggers can include alcohol and spicy foods.
