Bronze in awe of Lionesses star after latest rescue act
LUCY BRONZE has heaped praise on humble-but-fearless teenager Michelle Agyemang - after the tournament debutant saved England once again.
Arsenal forward Agyemang forced extra-time in the quarterfinal with Sweden and then repeated the trick against Italy in the last four with an equaliser six minutes into stoppage time.
Chloe Kelly went on to win the game for the Lionesses deep in extra-time on Tuesday, sending them through to Sunday’s final.
Both players will be pushing for more involvement after excelling as finishers under head coach Sarina Wiegman, and Bronze was effusive in her praise of Agyemang.
