Love rat preyed on women with sick lies about dying relatives

A SERIAL romance fraudster’s web of lies caught up with him as he was jailed for scamming women out of tens of thousands of pounds.
Conman Ben Millin, 32, fabricated stories of dying relatives, frozen bank accounts, job interviews and severe health conditions to scam his victims out of money, a court heard.
Four women were defrauded out of £30,000-40,000, with a large part used to fund his gambling. His victims have spoken out about the impact of his crimes after Millin, of Yeovil, Somerset, was jailed for 34 months.
The 32-yearold met Fiona in July 2021 and told her heartbreaking false stories about a sister he never had dying of cancer.
Abuse
In April 2022, she packed for their planned trip to London and he disappeared having claimed he would join her after a job interview in Bristol. Actually he was in court to be jailed for fraud against an former partner.
