Liverpool plots Beatles ‘ABBAtar’ showpiece

THE Beatles could reunite after 55 years as fab avatars playing gigs every night in the style of ABBA's blockbuster Voyage experience.
Liverpool City Region mayor Steve Rotheram is plotting the concert attraction — and has the funding ready after a visitor’s tax got the go-ahead.
Mr Rotheram said: “We might be able to deliver something similar but not identical to the ABBA Voyage experience in London.
“Just imagine if we could do something that features perhaps a local four-piece beat combo that did okay from these parts?”
The Swedish supergroup’s £140million virtual concert attraction opened three years ago in the capital.
